I have spent most of my career working with children and families who have experienced trauma but have shifted my focus to working with adult clients for now. In her personal time, she enjoys walking, weightlifting, horse riding, preparing healthy meals, traveling and reading self-development books.

Hi! My name is Lenaida "Lennie" Rodriguez. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I work with children ages 12+, teens, individual adults, couples and families. Some speciality areas are couples work, grief and loss, substance abuse, perinatal mental health. I am bilingual and have a deep passion for assisting in enhancing the lives of others and empowering them to identify their strengths to overcome their personal obstacles.
I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley and moved to San Antonio to pursue my education and identify other areas of self growth. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in Psychology. I continued my education and obtained a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, swimming, baking, and working on creative projects.
My philosophy for therapy is that it should be a “short term investment for life long benefits”. As a therapist, I am calm, patient, direct and honest.
I am a licensed social worker with nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals in higher education and community-based settings. My background includes working with college students and young adults navigating transitions, identity development, stress, and mental health challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in social work and have extensive experience designing and facilitating programs that support emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth.
In my clinical work, I specialize in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and burnout. I also have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those navigating questions of identity, belonging, and purpose.
