As a board-certified psychotherapist and supervisor, I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to explore, heal, and grow. Therapy can be a place to challenge yourself, overcome obstacles, and discover your greatest potential. With 10 years of experience, I approach each session with confidence, empathy, and a commitment to helping you navigate life’s stressors and create meaningful change.
My name is Kirstin Pace. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working in diverse environments including inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, emergency shelters, and the court system. My background includes working with children, adults and families who have faced trauma, domestic violence, homelessness, and substance use.
I am a very good communicator who is very interested in learning about you. I read a lot and study many things to be open-minded. I specialize in interfaith, intercultural, and sexuality issues while working with all kinds of relationships.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping clients manage anxiety, improve relationships, and move through difficult life experiences with greater clarity and resilience. I use evidence-based practices along with a supportive and culturally attuned approach to help clients understand themselves better and feel more grounded. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow at your own pace.
I am highly trained and deeply committed to helping teens and families thrive. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, advanced training in Christian counseling, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with certifications in school counseling, trauma-informed care, youth mental health, and human resources. I am also completing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership, where my research focuses on mental health needs and counselor workload.
My education and experience allow me to blend clinical expertise with a strong understanding of how families, schools, and communities shape well-being.
I love working with teens because adolescence is a powerful and challenging season. I have supported young people through anxiety, grief, trauma, identity concerns, academic stress, and family conflict, and I am passionate about creating a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood. I also work closely with families, helping them improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build healthier patterns together.
My practice is guided by faith, compassion, and professionalism. I offer biblically based counseling for clients who desire it, while always maintaining a safe, respectful, and evidence-based approach. Above all, I am a counselor who listens. I honor your experiences, respect your values, and work with you at a pace that feels right as we move toward healing and growth.
