I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in LGBTQIA+ couples and families. Since 2018, I have worked with individuals and couples facing a variety of mental health and sexual health concerns. As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I provide a supportive space to navigate challenges such as mismatched desire, low libido, performance anxiety, sexual dysfunction, infidelity recovery, intimacy issues, and healing from sexual trauma. I also help clients address concerns related to out-of-control sexual behavior, conflicting identities, and medical or age-related sexual changes. I am knowledgeable about and supportive of a wide range of relationally and sexually diverse communities, including but not limited to those who practice BDSM, Kink, Polyamory, Ethical Non-Monogamy, and Power-Exchange Dynamics. My approach integrates an understanding of co-occurring conditions such as Depression, Anxiety, Complex PTSD, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and a variety of other mental and physical health concerns, ensuring holistic and affirming care tailored to each client’s unique experiences.
I am grateful to have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, specializing in addictions, trauma, systems/care coordination, disabilities, and serious mental illnesses. I obtained my doctorate in counselor education and supervision where I specialized in multicultural issues, shame resilience, and advocacy.
I have been practicing 25 years. I have walked the path of life and its difficulties through lived experience
At the heart of my work is connection. I offer a warm, grounded, and compassionate space for teens ages 12 and up, adults, seniors, and couples who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or impacted by trauma, grief, relationship stress, or major life transitions.
Many of the people I work with are carrying a lot internally while trying to keep going on the outside. In therapy, you do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. My style is attuned, honest, and supportive, with space for both insight and practical tools.
My background includes trauma-informed work in high-acuity clinical settings, as well as years of supporting people through growth, transition, and change. My goal is to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more regulated in their nervous systems, and more able to move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
We need your light. ✨ It is time.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am honest, direct, and passionate about helping people connect to their values and make positive change in their lives.
I believe that our environment, our physical health, and our mental health are intimately linked. I take a whole person approach to counseling where we will address multiple aspects of your health and functioning in order to improve your mental health. An important part of my approach is helping you to broaden your awareness and build insight into how your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions interact and may be keeping you stuck in unhealthy cycles. I also work with my clients on values identification to help guide us in developing practical steps to get you unstuck and moving forward in life in a meaningful way. My main treatment modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.
I have experience working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient clinical settings and I have a special interest in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, mood disorders, sport/performance and general life difficulties (relationship conflict, job/career changes, managing stress).
I am accepting new clients for tele-health appointments. I provide medication management for: anxiety, depression, bipolar, and/or ADHD. I have after-hour appointments and Saturday availability.
I’m glad you’re here — taking the step to look for support shows your strength, and I’d be honored to walk with you.
