Hi! I am a Licensed MFT and I use a trauma informed approach to support your healing journey. I enjoy working with teens and adults and have experience with adoption issues, life transitions, and mood and anxiety struggles.
My name is Mariana Nogueira, LCSW, and I am a bilingual therapist with over a decade of experience working with individuals and families navigating trauma, grief, immigration, chronic illness, and major life transitions. I received my Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, and have extensive training in trauma-focused therapies and mindfulness-based approaches.
Over the years, I have worked in hospice care, hospital settings, cancer centers, community mental health, and with immigrant and undocumented communities. These experiences have deeply shaped my commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy.
I specialize in supporting adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, burnout, identity transitions, or who feel caught between cultures.
My clients describe me as relatable, supportive, and easy to open up to. As a first-generation Latina and part of the same generation as many of my clients, I understand the unique pressures young adults face—from family expectations to finding your own path—and I’m here to help you navigate it all with empathy and real-world perspective.
Feeling off, overwhelmed, or stuck? You deserve support as you work through this part of your life❤️ I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, stress, and other common human experiences, such as grief and loss, changes in mood, and major life changes.
My practice is the result of 7+ years of experience helping people across private practice, outpatient community mental health, correctional settings, and intensive outpatient care. I use evidence-based strategies to help clients build practical coping skills, manage difficult emotions, and navigate challenges in a way that fits their life and circumstances.
It’s normal to feel overwhelmed or unsure about the next step. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we will work through challenges at your pace and help you move towards healing, feeling balanced, and gaining a clearer sense of direction.
I offer early morning sessions into the early afternoon for early risers, busy schedules, and for those who want to start their day feeling supported.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or carrying the weight of past experiences. I’m Melissa, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’m here to support you. I offer a warm, steady space where you can feel safe, heard, and in control of your healing. Using EMDR and trauma-informed CBT, we’ll work together to help you feel more grounded, build self-compassion, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
